Official description
* The proposal relates internal works and regularisation and retrospective works to the rear wing. * To the lower ground floor, a space defined by modern fabric and prior alteration, it is proposed to swap the kitchen and dining rooms, moving the kitchen to the front room. * To the ground floor, the modern (pre-1988) full width opening between the front and rear rooms is to be reduced with nibs reinstated to either side. A door and small window are to be reinstated to the rear (north) wall of the closet wing, along with an internal partition forming a WC, all as per the 2001 approved application. * To the first floor, the ensuite is to be refurbished including repositioning of the shower cubicle so that the sealed door to the landing can be reopened. * To the first and second floors, retrospective permission is sought for the retention of the existing unauthorised windows of the rear (north) elevation of the rear wing, which replaced the now infilled windows of the west side elevation. The windows are timber sashes; a three- over-three sash to the first floor and a small one-over-one sash to the second floor. * Relocation of some modern radiators and bathroom refurbishment is also proposed but does not include intervention to any skirting and can utilise or link to existing services. * Modern recessed downlights are to be removed and made good with the appropriate materials to match the existing ceiling construction type.
