Official description
Proposal to construct a new OHL spur in order to provide a new connection for a BESS site. The new line will consist of 2 new single poles which will house our plant equipment and transformer. The new OHL will be installed using poles of a wooden variety and these will be no more than 12 metres in height. The total length of the overhead line will be 37 metres. From Pole 156 on the current spur, we propose to install approx. 37m of 33kV overhead cable, moving down into underground mains cable and service cable, which will terminate at the customer connection point. The cable route will be classed as permitted development and is not detailed in the plan. As this line is to be constructed away from the main road there will be no requirement for traffic management, supplies will be stored in our local depot yard in Perth.
