Transmission DNO connections (Crarae Substations)
Official description
We propose to upgrade a current and add a new overhead line spur to provide an electricity connection to two transmission substation sites. This will consist of 20 new single poles, 4 new H poles and the removal of 6 single poles and 2 H poles. The total length of this line will be 2250m. From current pole number 1033, we propose to install 2250m of 33kV overhead cable. For information, the line will move to underground cable from the final pole in each section to meet the new development.
