The application relates to the Scottish Power Distribution SP94413 Armadale 11kV Overhead Line circuit re-build. The line is located north of Armadale and Bathgate in West Lothian and is 8.4km in length including spurs, 3.9km of which is being submitted under S37, with the tallest pole being 13m in height. The circuit re-build includes diverting sections of the existing line as outlined in the attached route maps (red = proposed and grey = existing). The sections of line deviation amount to approximately 3.9km and represent areas being submitted under S37. The entire line Deviation points are as follows: Point A Grid Ref. NS953687 - NS946697 Point B Grid Ref. NS940699 - NS938700 Point C Grid Ref. NS945716 - NS952723 Point D Grid Ref. NS957700 - NS962694 Point E Grid Ref. NS952706 - NS955703 The work requires removal of various trees. All affected landowners have been consulted and have agreed to the works as well as replanting works where agreed by the landowner. The access arrangements will be discussed and agreed with the landowners prior to any work commencing.
