Replacement of two existing scaffold staircases with new steel stair structures incorporating intermediate landings and integrated lighting; relocation of existing passenger lift to the rear of the site; rationalisation and improvement of the entrance forecourt including resurfacing, removal of level changes, and replacement of existing double-leaf entrance gate with a single-leaf timber-clad door; extension of existing first-floor decking in two locations to provide additional unexposed external seating, introduction of one lightwell through existing first-floor deck; removal of fixed furniture from existing entrance hall to enable flexible community use; extension of timber cladding to southern site boundary with new access door with associated cosmetic repairs, re-finishing and upgrading of existing guarding and railing systems
