Official description
Retrospective listed building consent for three replacement window sashes to replace rotten sashes that have fallen into disrepair with rotten and broken mortice & tenon joints and wet rot. Replacements have been made to be exact replicas of the originals, in Sapele hardwood. These are situated on the front elevation, right hand side, upper and lower sash windows. One lower replacement on the upper window, and both replaced on the lower window. 50% of the original hand-drawn glass has been saved, with new 3mm float glass replacing damaged pains, and reinstalled into the new sashes with putty before decorating. No visual changes have been made to the property with these works.
