Turkey Oak T1 on sketch plan Pollard from 20m to 8m - whole crown reduction to stump of 8m with subsequent growth to be removed on regular basis. An alternative is to remove the tree and replace with an indigenous one suchas Mountain Ash but of three recommendations, two are to pollard. The tree is behind the church and is not visible from the road. It is 4.5m from the church wall and is 20m high so its roots system is causing cracking in spite of a concrete barrier, due to removal of water from the London clay soil.
