AGRICULTURAL PRIOR NOTIFICATION: Formation of a balanced cut-and-fill earthworks operation to create a water storage reservoir for irrigation purposes. Why necessary for agriculture: The proposed reservoir is reasonably necessary for the purposes of agriculture as it will provide a secure and sustainable water supply for the irrigation of plants grown at the commercial nursery. The reservoir will enable the collection, storage and reuse of rainwater and irrigation runoff, reducing reliance on mains water supplies, improving the resilience of the horticultural enterprise, and supporting the efficient operation of the agricultural holding. Why designed for agriculture: As noted above the proposed reservoir is to provide a sustainable water supply for the irrigation of plants grown at the commercial nursery.
