Supply and install 16x new 32mm diameter gas supplies from the existing gas meter positions routed externally on the building façade to each of the flats within Latimer House. The new gas supplies will enter each flat utility room at low level and be left adjacent to each boiler ready for future connection. The works are required due to the internal fire risk with the existing gas supply showing signs of corrosion and the services rising internally through an occupied space communicating between the flats with no fire stopping between floors. The service riser is not currently exclusive to the gas supplies and contains other services, there is also no ventilation to outside, which creates the possibility of a build up of gas within the riser in the event of a gas escape.
