We plan to extend the rear of the house by 6 metres to form a larger kitchen / breakfast room. (We believe the house may have been extended many years ago to the rear by 2 metres. This meaning with the new extension it will be a maximum of 8 metres, however I am not entirely sure if there was a previous extension or if it was just infilled on one side. ) The extension will be single storey and will be finished in render as per the existing house. The roof will be a flat roof with dummy pitches to the rear and side. It will not extend above 4 metres in height at the highest point and the eaves with match in height or be lower than the existing house. The extension will not be within 2 metres of any boundary and will not obscure natural sunlight from any neighbours property.
