Land at Woodhill, Send, Woking, Surrey

Official description

We are writing on behalf of our client, Martin Grant Land (the 'Applicant'), to make a formal request for a Screening Opinion to determine the requirement for an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) in respect of a full planning application at Land at Woodhill in Send (The 'Site'). The proposed development description reads: "Full planning application comprising the change of use of 20.4ha of land to create a new Suitable Alternative Natural Greenspace ("SANG'), provision of associated crossing points and car park from Woodhi/1 to accommodate 24no. car parking spaces, demolition of existing agricultural building". Please note that the above application was recently submitted to Guildford Borough Council last week, under reference PP-15222088. This request is made pursuant to Regulation 6 of the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017 (as amended) (the 'EIA Regulations). Please find attached the Screening Letter for further information. We have also attached a Location Plan for information. As concluded within the Letter, it is considered that the proposed development would not have a significant impact on the environment and as such, does not require an EIA under the provisions of the EIA Regulations. Please refer to the Letter in full. We look forward to hearing from you. If you have any further queries or require further information then please do not hesitate to contact me or my colleague Huw James (cc'd in to this email)
