Official description
Please see the attached Tree Survey Report for full details of the proposed works and reasons for removal. Trees 1, 2, 3 and 5 are in rapid decline, with extensive deadwood, evidence of decay and a history of branch or crown failures. They are located adjacent to or within falling distance of a regularly used track, creating an unacceptable risk to public safety. Tree 4 is a dead twin-stemmed tree leaning towards the track and is likely to have significant structural and root decay. The proposed works are necessary to address safety concerns and reduce the risk of tree failure. No replacement planting is proposed, as the site contains numerous existing trees and benefits from ongoing natural regeneration through self-seeded saplings.
